An interesting experiment when a UK town switched off the traffic lights at a busy junction.
A small town in the Outback of Victoria, Australia, is changing its name for a month in the name of road safety.
Speed will be known as Speed Kills for a month in the hope of slowing down drivers.

From January 2012 the DSA will no longer be publishing the questions used in the Theory test, the idea being that, in the words of Road Safety Minister Mike Penning, “No longer publishing these questions and answers will mean that successful candidates will have to understand the theory rather than simply memorising answers.”
